Acie Quinn Wells

Acie Quinn Wells, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021 at White Oak Manor, Charlotte and he was born on May 2, 1938 in Gastonia and is the son of the late Campbell and Helen Skidmore Wells.

Acie was a loving son, brother and friend to so many. He will truly be missed by so many. Acie loved Burger King and always enjoyed eating Ice Cream.

Acie worked in the Construction Industry as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He is a long time member of Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, Gastonia.

Acie is survived by his 3 sisters, Joyce Hudson and husband Herman, Virginia Davis, Alma Stone; 5 brothers, Bobby Wells and wife Pat, his twin brother, Lacey Wells, Larry Wells and wife Carolyn, Paul Wells, David Wells and wife June; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Woodside Cemetery, Clover with Rev. James Chambers officiating with Military Rites by the Gaston Honor Guard and the United States Army.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, Masks and Social Distancing will be required.

The family will receive family and friends after the Graveside Service.

Acie was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Leroy Wells, Donald Wells; 1
sister, Annie Wells.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to: Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, 271 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28052.
