Anita Register Coogan

Gastonia – Anita Register Coogan, 66, passed away on August 4, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Anita was born in Nashville Tennessee on August 28, 1955 to the late James and Betty Register.  

Anita loved music and played the studio keyboard. She enjoyed golf and her four-legged pets. Most of all she loved making many happy memories with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 40 years, George Coogan; daughters, Holly Coogan (Brittany) and Dana Stroupe (Justin); brother, Tommy Register; and her grandchildren, Ethan Hicks, Haley Martin, and Hunter Sexton.

All services will be private.
