Anita Hart Hallman, a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 10, 2023. She was surrounded by her family in the comfort of her residence after bravely battling cancer for five years.
Born on November 21, 1961, in Mecklenburg County, Anita was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She devoted over 43 years of her career to the field of Real Estate, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to her profession. Her dedication and passion were truly inspiring to those she worked alongside.
Anita's love for her church and her unwavering faith brought immense joy and strength to her life. She found solace in her community at the New Covenant Church. Anita's profound connection with the Lord guided her actions and shaped the way she treated others with kindness, compassion, and understanding.
One of Anita's greatest joys was spending quality time with her family. She adored being in the presence of her loved ones and creating cherished memories together. Anita shared an especially close bond with her father, Calvin Caldwell Hart, whose qualities she embodied throughout her life.
In addition to being a devoted wife of 41 years to Rickey Hallman, Anita leaves behind a legacy that will continue through her daughter Anna Harris and husband Daven. Her grandchildren, Alli and Brooks Harris, who lovingly called her “SheShe”, brought immense happiness and pride into her life. Anita is also survived by her loving mother Mrs. Mayoris Rogers Hart.
Anita's sisters Brenda McConnell and Frances Williams will forever cherish the memories they shared together as siblings. She held a special place in the hearts of their family gatherings and celebrations. Anita's influence extended beyond immediate family members to include nieces and nephews David McConnell, Mary Catherine McConnell, Mark McConnell, Margaret Ann McConnell; as well as great nieces and nephews Ella McConnell, Sophia McConnell, Aedan McConnell, Cecilia Alicea.
Anita had a gift for building connections with others. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and engaging in heartfelt conversations. Her warm and welcoming nature made everyone feel at ease in her presence. Anita's genuine interest in others' lives and experiences cultivated countless friendships that enriched her life.
Anita held a special affection for the Gulf Coast, particularly Destin, Florida. These sandy shores brought her solace and serenity amidst the gentle waves and endless horizons. In those moments, she found respite from the demands of everyday life.
The memories we have of Anita will forever be treasured. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering devotion to family, and radiant smile will continue to inspire us all. We are grateful for the time we shared with this remarkable woman who touched our lives in immeasurable ways.
To honor Anita's life and celebrate her incredible journey, visitation will take place on August 12, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at New Covenant Church in Mt Holly, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location with Dr. Stuart Noell and Dr. Gary Royals officiating. The address of the church is 14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mt Holly NC 28120. Inurnment will be at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers will be River Howard, Aaron Hallman, Bradley Hallman, Ben Hart, John Hart, Matt Lamm and Joshua Lamm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to New Covenant Church, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mt Holly NC 28120 in memory of Anita Hart Hallman.
Anita Hart Hallman will forever be remembered as a loving wife, devoted daughter, cherished mother, beloved sister, trusted friend, and faithful servant of God. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. Anita was so grateful for the friendship of each one of you. Her greatest prayer and wish for each one of you is that you would know the love of Jesus Christ and his great gift of everlasting salvation.
