Ann Mace Clark

Ann Mace Clark, 79, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 3, 1946 to the late Earle and Vida Mace. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Doug Clark; son, Earle Mace, Jr.; brother, Kenneth Blair Mace; and her sister, Karen Lynn Hattawell.

Ann was a humble and simple lady who loved and cared for her family most of all. The memories she leaves will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She worked and retired from Homelite for over 33 years, where she enjoyed putting chainsaws together. She also enjoyed trips to Florida to parasail and play with the alligators.

She is survived by her sons, Roger McCraw, Jr., Robert Shane McCraw; step-children, Janet Marie Connley (Keith), and Douglas Lee Clark; siblings, Glen Eric Mace (Sherrie) and Randy Brazell (Pat); granddaughter, Amber Lynn Cook and her girls, Katie, Chole and Zoey; and special uncle, Glenn Fredrick Mace, his wife, Shirley, and their daughter, Amy.

A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, North Carolina, in Mausoleum B.
