Anna Gibson Little

Anna Gibson Little, born on March 14, 1939, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. Her long and grace-filled life touched all who knew her, and she will be remembered with deep love and respect by her family and friends.

Anna is survived by her children, Claude "Rusty"Little (Christine), Michael Little (Tazza), and Linda Strange (Scott), who have carried forward her values of kindness, resilience, and compassion. Her legacy extends to her grandchildren: Christopher Little, Melissa Little, Brian Little (Rebekah), Greg Isenhour, Anna Carol Little, Trey Strange, Jason Carey, Jessica Griffin (David) , and Christina Middlemiss (Andrew) along with seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

 Each of them benefited greatly from her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Howard Ray Little, (passed in 2012) whose partnership brought her many years of joy and companionship. Anna is also reunited in rest with her father, Russell Gibson, her mother, Katie Gibson, and her grandson, Jeremy Little.

Throughout her life, Anna was the steady heart of her family. She offered gentle guidance and loving encouragement, always putting the needs of those she cherished above her own. Her deep sense of empathy and generous spirit drew others to her, and she formed many lasting connections through her genuine concern and sincere interest in those around her.

Family gatherings were especially meaningful in Anna’s presence. She brought together generations with her kind words, infectious smile, and ability to make everyone feel valued. Her stories and laughter will be treasured memories for years to come.

A graveside service to honor Anna Gibson Little’s life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Carolina Memorial Park, located at 601 Mt Olivet Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Family and friends are invited to join in paying their final respects and celebrating the life of a remarkable woman whose impact endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Anna leaves a beautiful legacy of love, strength, and grace. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit lives on in all who were fortunate to know her.
