Cramerton - Annie Sue Mauney Phillips, 81, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Atrium Health-Main surrounded by her family.
Annie was born in Gaston County on January 3, 1941 and was the daughter of the late James Mauney and Lula Pace Mauney. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Bobby Phillips who passed in 2018; and her beloved fur baby, Katie.
Annie retired from Parkdale Corporate Office in 2016 after 36 years of service. She served as a Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer for over 40 years. Annie was a member of City Church, Gastonia. Annie loved spending time with her family, especially the trips to the beach with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister.
Annie is survived by her loving family, one daughter, Trina Robinson and husband Mike of Gastonia; three sons, Scott Phillips and wife Mandy of Gastonia, Tony Phillips and wife Renee of Cramerton, Jason Phillips of Cramerton; grandchildren, Josh Phillips and wife Isabel, Stacey Phillips, Calan Phillips, Hannah Phillips Waldrup and husband Kile, Holly Robinson, Anna Robinson, Brett Phillips, Brenna Phillips; great grandchildren, Lily Phillips and Evelyn Phillips;
Her siblings, Patsy Myers and husband Sidney, Jimmy Mauney and Barbara, Jackie Mauney and wife Gail; several nieces and nephews and also her fur baby, Charlee.
Private services will be at Evergreen "A Quiet Place" Rose Garden with Pastor Dickie Spargo, officiating, and with the Releasing of the Doves to follow.
