David Anson Williams
November 10, 2020 – December 11, 2020

Gastonia - Anson was born during a pandemic, and in a time of darkness and loneliness, he brought to the world the brightest eyes and the biggest smile. His parents were so proud of him and called him their hero because he brought them to Christ and to be better people. He was such a beautiful and happy baby. His time on earth was short, and he must have been a borrowed angel because he blessed everyone he met and even those he only met online through pictures.

The family would like to thank all of the first responders: Police, EMT and Fire Fighters from Union Road Fire Department for their fast response and the fervent effort as they tried to resuscitate Anson. We know that Gaston County had such a hard night losing one of their beloved officers just after this call for Anson and we continue to pray for their safety daily and comfort in their time of loss.

Anson was preceded in death by his grandparents; (paternal) David Robert Williams Sr.; great grandparents: (maternal) Jonathan and Margaret Keeffe, Alexander Brooks,(paternal) Manuel and Mary Medrano.

Anson is survived by his parents, David and Ariella Williams; great grandparents, Cindy Brooks of Kings Mountain; Terry Hill and Gail Cooper of Georgia; grandparents, (maternal) Ann and Ervin Mitchell of Gastonia; Andre and Andrea B. Brooks of Charlotte; (paternal) Maria M Williams of Charlotte; great aunt, Stella Keeffe of Gastonia; aunts, Amber DeLane (Kevin) of Gastonia; Tara Sansbury, Andrea P Brooks of Bessemer City; Ashley Williams Mims (Caleb) of Charlotte; and Krissy Bailey; uncle, Spencer Norkett; cousins, Emberleigh, Jaidyn, Elijah, Ashlyn, Landen, Jeffery, Devyn, Karson, Ethan, Bryson, Asia and Kamron; honorary aunt Tammy Stahlman and honorary uncle Alan Plyler; and many more distant relatives.
