Barbara Lynn Bohannon

Barbara Lynn Bohannon, born on August 16, 1930, in Gaston County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, at Terrace Ridge Assisted Living. She was surrounded by her loving daughter at the time of her departure, leaving behind a legacy of devotion and warmth that has touched all who have known her.

Mrs. Bohannon was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her pride in her family was palpable, as her children and grandchildren formed the heart of her accomplishments.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Judy Daniels and her husband Michael; her grandsons, Ben Daniels and his wife JoAnna, and Jay Daniels; as well as her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Alexandra, Luke, and Charlotte.

Barbara was a lifelong member of Olney Presbyterian Church, where she cherished her church family and found great joy and community. Among her many interests, she enjoyed her time with the extension homemakers club and looked forward to her ceramics class, where she cultivated lasting friendships.

Barbara's journey was marked by the love of her family and friends, but also by the loss of those dearest to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newman Thomas Lynn and Tressie Flume Lynn; her husband Marshall Bohannon; a beloved son, Fred Hullett; and her seven siblings.

Her life will be celebrated with a visitation and funeral service to be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Olney Presbyterian Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, until 2:00 P.M. , with a funeral service at 2:00PM following

Barbara Lynn Bohannon leaves behind memories filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
