Belton Caulder

Gastonia – Belton Caulder, 72, passed away August 14, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Marion, SC, on September 11, 1949 to the late Archie Blease Caulder and Dora Barrentine Caulder. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Archie Levern Caulder and a sister, Patricia Stilwell.

He was a veteran of the US Army; and he retired from CCL Label after many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and traveling with family. He had a big heart and enjoyed spending with family.

Left to cherish Belton’s memory is his devoted wife, of almost 39 years, Amanda Black Caulder; his children, Belton Keith Caulder, Jason M. Lecroy, Shannon Caulder, Kristin Lecroy and Lindsey Caulder; grandchildren, Shann Caulder, Madison Lecroy, and Brandon Huddleson. sister, Loraine Tatham; mother and father-in-law, William J. Black and Mary Jane Black.

A Memorial service will be Friday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Caulder family Cemetery, Marion, SC. at a later date.
