Belvie Lee Price, Jr.

Belvie Lee Price, Jr., passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Gaston County and was the son of the late Belvie Lee “Red” Price, Sr.  and Catherine Price and he was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Hilda Faye Trimnal Price, and son, Michael Lee Price.

Belvie was a member of First Assembly of God and enjoyed dirt bike racing and loved horses. He was one person you could always count on.  He loved helping people with projects and he could fix anything.  He was a very loving son, husband, father, brother grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family and will be truly missed by his family and friends. Belvie enjoyed woodworking, often making furniture and many other items.

Belvie is survived by his three sons, Larry Price, Johnny Price, David Helms; one sister, Barbara Coleman; six grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Price, Amber Price, Heather Price, Davin Price, Zachary Price (Kelsey), Megan Hall (Alex); nine great grandchildren, Skylan Johnson, Abby Robinette, Anslee Price, Ja’ Michael Price, Cambree Price, Hadley Price, Blakley Price, Kash Price, Paxton Price.

The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at First Assembly of God, 777 South Myrtle School Road, Gastonia with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Thursday,  January 12, 2023 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Dennis Boyce. Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
