Gastonia – Bobby Hue "Bob" Teague, 86 passed away on December 20th at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Clover, South Carolina on July 22, 1934 to the late Ermon and Pearl McCurry Teague. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Teague and a brother, Roger Teague.

Bob was a US Air Force Veteran serving over 10 years. He was a lifelong member of Community Baptist Church. He was in the Lowell Masonic Lodge for over 20 years. Bob worked as a plant manager at Burlington for many years and also was a dedicated school teacher with Gaston County School. Bob also played baseball in 1960 in Rome, Italy.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife and the love of his life of 66 years, Jeanette Petty Teague; daughters, Teresa Wilde (Bo Ellis), Donna Black; sons, Steve Teague (Paula) and Richard Teague (John Jackson); grandchildren Jason Black, Christy Teague, Chris (Brittany) Sides and Taylor Black; great grandchildren, Zachery, Bethany, Xander, Xavier, Ja-Mora, Piper, Karia and Avery; brother, Charles Teague; and sister Sondra Johnson; sister-in-laws, Iris Hicks (Don); JoAnn Faulkenberry (Charles) and Peggy Herron (Larry).

Arrangements will be at a later date.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, arrangements will be at a later; if you would like to send a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, 823 Dallas Stanley Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
