Brandon Richard Bell, born on September 25, 1997, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2026, in Shelby, NC. His unexpected departure has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Brandon was a man of the outdoors—an avid outdoors-man with a deep love for hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He found great joy in these pursuits, often accompanied by his beloved hunting dog, Pearl, as they hunted deer and racoon s together. These moments reflected his vibrant spirit and his connection to nature, a part of who he was every day.
Throughout most of his life, Brandon dedicated himself to his career in landscaping and tree service. His hands shaped and cared for the earth, much like the gentle strength he showed in his personal relationships. Yet, his proudest accomplishments were not measured in the work he did but in the hearts he held dear—his beloved daughters, Paisleigh and Kinslee Bell, were the light of his life and his greatest sources of pride.
Those closest to Brandon remember him not only for his skills and passions but for the happiness he found in spending time with family and friends. He cherished these moments wholeheartedly, embedding his warmth, laughter, and love in every gathering.
Brandon is survived by his devoted parents, Les and Christina Bowen Bell, and his loving fiancée, Trinity Oxentine, whose bond with him was deep and true. His daughters, Paisleigh and Kinslee Bell, carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. He is also survived by his grandmother, Mary Bowen; brothers Justin Bell (and his wife, Katie), Travis Bell (and his wife, Briana), and Tyler Queen; and sisters Brittany Queen (and her husband, Chris) and Libby Queen (and her husband, Jake). Together, they form the family circle that Brandon cherished so deeply.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents—Robin Bishop, Kenneth Bishop, and Jack Bowen—whose memories remain cherished in his heart and in those of his family.
Brandon’s visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054. This will be a time for all who loved him to gather, remember, and celebrate a life that, though too brief, was truly lived to its fullest.
Brandon’s life was a testament to the joy found in nature, the strength of family, and the value of enduring love. Though he has passed from this world, the memories he leaves behind—his laughter, his passion for the outdoors, his devotion to his daughters, and his gentle nature—will forever remain woven into the hearts of those who loved him.
Ride in peace, Brandon. You will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
