Dallas – Brenda Sue Jenkins Starr, 71 passed away on August 21, 2020 at her residence.
She was born in Gaston County, NC to the late George and Mary Ellen Lineberger Jenkins.
Brenda retired from Well Fargo; she worked in banking over 50 years of service. She loved animals and enjoyed shopping and the beach.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Freddie Starr; her children, Chad (Lisa) Huskins, Brad Starr, Tim (Becki) Brinson; wonderful grandchildren. Emma Grace Huskins, Hunter Ballard, Tucker, Grayson and Davis Brinson; brother George (Kathy) Jenkins; sister, Dottie Deaton.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 23rd at Gaston Memorial Park, Luke II section with Pastor John Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home prior to the service
Pallbearers will be George Jenkins, Jr., George Jenkins, III, Hunter Ballard, Justin Moore, Kyle Parnell and Shane Rivelle.
