Charles Timothy Conley

Gastonia – Charles Timothy Conley, 50, passed away at his residence on November 14, 2022.    

Charles was born in Gaston County on November 26, 1971 to Stephen and Linda Conley. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Minnie Conley; his maternal grandfather, J.C. Worley; and his uncle J.C. “Rusty” Worley, Jr.  

Charles proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed building guns and cars. He and his brother worked on cars their entire childhood. He learned carpentry from his papadaddy and continued the hobby in his memory. Most of all Charles loved his family and leaves many happy memories to be cherished by them.

He is survived by his parents Linda and Stephen Conley; his wife Lisa Pressley; son, Nathan Conley; brother, Scott Conley; grandmother, Grace Worley; his uncle, Jeff Worley and his wife Libby; cousin, Quinton Worley; nephew, Ethan Conley; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday November 19, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at North Gaston Church of God 1310 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy Dallas NC, 28034. A private graveside service for the family will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with Pastor Andy Nicholson officiating.
