Morganton – Charles Monroe Hedrick, 76, passed away on January 2, 2021, at Carolina Healthcare Blue Ridge in Morganton, North Carolina.
He was born on August 23, 1944, in Mecklenburg County to the late Jake and Vannie Hedrick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Gene, Randy, Steven, and Aubrey Hedrick.
Charles was a member of Grace Covenant PCA Church in Hickory, North Carolina. He was a Deacon Emeritus of the church. Charles Volunteered at CCM of Hickory. He was a kind and loving man that never met a stranger. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife Joanne Currie Hedrick; son, Rodney Hedrick of Aurora, Colorado; daughters, Amy Breault (Joe) of Conway, South Carolina, Ronda Hedrick of Morganton, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Breault, Joseph Breault, and Rachel Hedrick.
Memorial services will be held at Grace Covenant PCA Church 3710 North Center Street Hickory, North Carolina on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Gordon officiating.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
