Charlie Theodore Crotts, 57 passed away peacefully on February 23, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Gaston County on November 12, 1964, to Paul Andrew Crotts and Mary Elizabeth Wooten Crotts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gene and James Crotts, and 2 sisters, Paula Martin and Frankie Helms.
Charlie installed fire protection and worked in textiles.
Left to cherish Charlie's memories is his loving wife of 40 years, Susan Godfrey Crotts;
his children, Michael Crotts and Leslie Crotts; his brother, Wayne Crotts; grandchildren, Kadin, Maverick, Cody and Alex and special granddaughter, Haley Godfrey.
The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Marshall Banks, Kenneth Banks, Jason Tyson, Eli Barber, Cody Crotts, Hunter Edwards.
Interment will follow at Smith Cemetery, Belmont, NC
