Chris R. Ireland

Gastonia - Chris Ronald Ireland, 48, passed away at his residence on October 19, 2022.

He was born on July 10, 1974 to April Phillips and the late Ronald Castaldo. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents and his nephew, Hunter Ward.

Chris was a fan of Star Wars and enjoyed watching movies but for him it was all about the music. He was a bass player and loved 80’s hair metal music. Chris was an all-around fun man.

Those left to cherish Chris’ memory is his wife of seven years Amy Ireland; daughter Zoe Ireland; step-daughter Miranda Dickerson; brother-in-law Danny Dickerson; sisters, Lisa Ward and Amanda Reische; sisters-in-law, Jane DeVries and Sharon Dickerson; and his mother, April Phillips

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
