Maiden – Christopher Hubert Ramseur – 53, passed away on March 2nd at Catawba Valley Medical in Hickory surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in El Paso, Texas on July 26, 1966 to Margaret Shepherd Ramseur and the late Harold W. Ramseur.
He was a loving son, brother and friend to many. Chris loved his family and cherished all the memories that have been made throughout the years.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Shepherd Ramseur; his daughter, Narissia Huff; his siblings, George James (Sherry), Ronald Ramseur (Barbara), Pastor Billy Ramseur (Janice); Harold J. Ramseur, Patricia Ramseur, Marlene Dingle and Jane Ramseur; honorary brother and sister, Garland and Glenda Rhinehardt; 3 grandchildren, Naeousha Ramseur, Damierona Burch and Tye'Kareion Brice; 1 niece and 5 nephews; and many other family and friends who will dearly miss him.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m., at Maiden Chapel Baptist Church, 115 Gibbs Road, Maiden, NC with Pastor Cory Gaines and Bishop Tommy Thompson officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. The body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow service at Maiden Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
