Creed Eugene Rollins, Sr.

Creed E. Rollins Sr., 75, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on March 2, 1948 to Lonzo and Blondell (Burnett) Rollins.

Creed graduated from Hunter Huss High School and would later move up to the Toledo area and raise his family. He worked as a millwright at Walbridge Coatings for many years before retiring in 2013. In his earlier years he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. What he cherished most was his loving family who will miss him dearly.

Creed is survived by his children, Gene (Kimberly) Rollins, Creed (Sherri) Rollins Jr., Heather (Jon) Bae; grandchildren, Jeffery Rollins, David Rollins, Kendra Rollins, Olivia Rollins, Taylor Rollins, Jonah Bae, Marah Bae; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Marshall (Cookie) Rollins; and niece Kim Voncannon. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Lonnie Rollins.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Burrell officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Son Rise Holiness Church 90 Coyote Pass Lane in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.
