Crystal Dawn Brown

Gastonia – Crystal Dawn Brown, 55, passed away on February 24, 2024.

She was born in Gaston County, on August 23, 1968.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Eric Brown, 49, who passed away on October 4, 2022, and her grandparents, Hazel Welch Shuler and Frank Thomas Shuler, Lottie and Ed Brown.

She was a graduate of Hunter Huss High School and was a color guard. Crystal worked as an office manager for years. After high school, she did modeling for Belk and Hopelessly Romantic. She was very creative in crafts, making beautiful things for her family. She enjoyed cooking and making many wonderful dishes. Crystal was a wonderful daughter and friend to many. Crystal was a animal lover and she leaves behind Gia her dog and her cat Sweetpea. 

Crystal is survived by her loving family, her mother, Seritta Shuler Brown, and father, Steve Edward Brown; her companion of many years, Curtis Jones and many wonderful cousins.

A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Gaston Memorial Park, Veterans 3A, section with Pastor Steve Black officiating.
