Daniel George Seufert

Daniel George Seufert, 71, a beloved member of community, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023. Born on July 5, 1952 in Dumont, New Jersey, he was the son of Harold George and Eileen Callagy Seufert. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Marie Seufert.

Daniel dedicated many years of his life working over 40 years as a teacher in Gaston County and Mecklenburg County. He also enjoyed traveling to the mountains in Asheville and visiting Ireland. He enjoyed teaching school and spending time in the class room. Daniel was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Daniel is survived by son, Michael Seufert and wife Nicole, daughter, Caroline Brown and husband Ashton Brown; grandchildren, Cash, Ava, Cruz, Malachi, Asher and Whitleigh; brother William Seufert, sisters Mary Ann Walters and husband Jerry, Roseanne Seufert, Doris Jones and husband Kevin Jones

In memory of Daniel, Celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10^th, 2024 in the Chapel at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Debra Short officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00p.m., Wednesday, January 10th prior to the service
