Danny Charles Martin

Danny Charles Martin, 55, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Gaston County on June 7, 1968 to the late Joe and Teresa Hughes

Danny was a hard worker and enjoyed camping. Most of all, Danny enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Debra Green Martin; children Kyle Martin and Jason Green; brother, Chris Todd; and grandchildren, Braylen, Carter, Jordan, and Hayden.  

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Jack Green officiating.
