David Randolf Norwood

David Randolph Norwood, 92, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away on May 4, 2026. Born on March 4, 1934.

David lived a long life marked by independence and a quiet appreciation for the things he enjoyed most. He loved golf and bowling with his friends and family and proudly served in the United States Army, reflecting a spirit of duty and commitment.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Bruce Norwood, with whom he shared a unique lifelong bond.

David is survived by his daughter, Belinda Frank, and his sons, Michael Norwood and Robert Norwood. He is also survived by his niece, Yvonne Lambert, and nephew, Greg Norwood.

David's ashes will be laid to rest at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia.

He will be remembered with fondness and respect by those who knew him best.
