Crouse – Frankie "Dewey" Wayne McAbee, 56 passed away at home unexpectedly on April 21, 2020.
He was born in Gaston County, on March 19, 1964 to Hazel Earley McAbee and the late Johnny Wayne Mcabee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Florence Earley, Dewey and Elizabeth McAbee.
Dewey enjoyed his time working in his yard. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Dewey worked as metal fabricator with Alert Metal Works for many years.
Left to cherish his memories includes his wife of 21 years, Carolyn Loftin McAbee; his children, Justin Watson, Amanda Reece, Christopher and Joseph McAbee, Amanda Todd and Rhonda Frankum; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Johnny McAbee and Emmaus Smith; sister, Tammy McAbee
