Belmont – Ethan Thomas Pepitone, 22, passed away December 28, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, North Carolina.

 

Ethan was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on November 14, 2000 to Stephen and Karen Pepitone.

 

Ethan graduated with high honors from South Point High School and attended UNC-Asheville and planned to transfer to Appalachian State University to complete his bachelor’s degree in economics. He enjoyed being outdoors, snowboarding, wake boarding, mountain biking, camping, hiking, and had a love for live music.  

 

In addition to his parents, Stephen and Karen Pepitone, he is survived by his brother, Noah Pepitone; his sister, Isla Pepitone; and his grandparents, Thomas and Kathleen Pepitone and George and Sue Williams.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 503 North Main Street Belmont, North Carolina.  

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Catawba Lands Conservancy (catawbalands.org) or the Tarheel Trailblazers (tarheeltrailblazers.com).
