Gastonia - Fay Martin Brown Brack, 90, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky on February 25, 1931, and is the daughter of the late Martin Lester Brown and Mary Axton Brown.
Fay was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will truly be missed by so many.
She was a very active and faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Choir, Sunday School Teacher, Nursery worker, and involved with many Ministry teams.
Fay is survived by her children, John A. Brack, Jr. (Sue), Greg Brack (Judy), Steven Brack (Sharon), Jenny Creighton (Joe), Bryant Brack (Laura), Linda DeMar (Joe), Glenda Crosby (Jeff); fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 York Highway, Gastonia with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Dustin Hamrick and Reverend Dr. Bruce Pittman officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in the Garden of Honor Section with the Releasing of the Doves.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, John Arvil Brack, Sr.; two brothers, Billy Brown, Jim Osbourn; four sisters, Aileen Bellew, Ann Alvis, Jessie Moss, Mary Edith Horn.
