Gastonia Freda Jane Elkins, 71, of Gastonia passed away peacefully September 28, 2012 at her residence..
She was a native of Buncombe County, born October 17, 1940 to the late George Lewis and Allie Poindexter Elkins
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, James and Bud Elkins; her sisters, Jean Stamey, Barbara Welch, Dollie Scarborough and Brenda Sue Elkins
Survivors include her sister, Lula Mae Pellerin of Gastonia
And many nieces and nephews
Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery
