M/SGT Gary Milton Bradford, USAF (RET), 73, entered into Heaven on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 20, 1948 and is the son of the late Milton Grady and Jean Shipp Bradford.

Gary was a graduate of Cleburne High School, Cleburne, Texas, Class of 1966, NCO Academy and Belmont Abbey with a Business Degree.

Gary retired after 22 years of Honorable Service in the United States Air Force. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, Distinguished Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with One Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with One Silver and One Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with One Bronze Star, AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with Four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon with One Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Training Ribbon. Subject to Recall by the Secretary of the Air Force, served Aug. 2, 1990 to June 30, 1993 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

Gary is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan Paseur Bradford; one son, David Bradford (Ashleigh); two daughters, Jena Bennett, Kristi Rhyne (Tommy); six grandchildren whom he adored, Chloe Bennett, Caitlyn Bennett, Shelbi Rhyne, Patrick Rhyne, Jonathan Bradford, Calleigh Bradford; one great grandson, Elijah Rhyne.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 531 Hardin Road, Dallas with Rev. Dr. John Spencer officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors by the United States Air Force, Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina.
