Gary Allen Ludwick

Gary Allen Ludwick, 84, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026 at Terrace Ridge Assisted Living, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on August 20, 1941 to the late William and Marjorie Ludwick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Bolich.

Gary spent his career working as a creative director in marketing and advertising. He was always known as a DIY guy who would rebuild engines, build garages, treehouses, and swing sets. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do if he set his mind to it. He loved his precious dogs, Sissy and Sweet Tea. Most of all he loved the Lord and his family. The memories made with Gary will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Sherry Jenkins Ludwick; children, Sean Ludwick (Angie) and Dana Templeton (Doug); grandchildren, Olivia Templeton and Claire Templeton; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life well be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in the chapel at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
