George Anthony Oliver

Bessemer City - George Anthony Oliver, age 60, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Robin Johnson House. He was born on January 22, 1964 in Gastonia, NC. He was the son of the late James Oliver.
 
 Anthony attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Bessemer City NC.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Gayle Oliver; sister, Amanda Oliver, Alicia “Shelly” Oliver and Anissa “Buffy” Gates (Keith); and a brother Charles Pendleton; nephew, Kyle Gates (Payton); niece, McKenzie Gates; and great nephew, Bennett Gates.  

Graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robin Johnson House, PO Box 3894 Dallas, NC 28034.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Robin Johnson House and Hospice of Gaston County for the care he received during his illness.
