Harold Keith Medlin, lovingly known by many as 'Hawg' and 'Papa Keith' 60, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
Keith was a native of Charlotte, born September 12, 1961 to the late Bobby Medlin and Jean Greene.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Keith was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bragging about his grandkids, and laughing with friends.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was proud to serve his country and talked fondly of his time in service. He was a graduate of Harding High School. He spent many years working with Penhall Company. He loved meeting new people, and never met a stranger. His many jokes and witty banter will be missed by many.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 37 years, Paula Hoffman Medlin; his father, Paul Greene of Bryson City, NC; his children, Clint Medlin of Clover, S.C., and Kacy Agee and husband, Matt of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren Ezekiel, Hattie, Kyler, Camden, and Jack Agee; brother, Dwayne Greene and Wife Jennifer of Nashville, TN; brother in law, Rodney Hoffman and wife Darla; sister in law Darlene Jarvis and husband Ray; nieces and nephews: Zachary, Allison, and Rebecca Jarvis and Aniston and Aiden Greene; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday at Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25th at Sandy Plains Baptist Church with Pastor David Keuss officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 5323 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054
