Lowell – Hazel Goins Pressley, 87, formerly of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on November 18th at Suncoast Hospice while she was in Florida with her daughter.
She was born in Gaston County, NC on August 2, 1933 to the late Romie and Oma Hampton Goins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Torrence Pressley; and by her sisters, Joyce Chaney and Mary Aileen Goins Goudelock.
She was loved and cherished by her loving daughter, Kristin Ellis and husband Ben; extended family and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24th at Gaston Memorial Park, Singing Tower IV,
1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating.
