Bessemer City – James David Burrell,60, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2022.
He was born in Greenville County on June 3, 1962 to Cecil Burrell and the late Betty Hipp.
He loved Brother James Chambers and Soul’s Harbor Tabernacle. David was a collector of Hot Wheel Cars, often traveling all over to collect. Most of all he loves spending time with Lisha and his fur baby’s Molly and Buddy.
Left to cherish David’s memories is his loving wife of 8 years, Betty Dockery Burrell; his children, Johathon Burrell and wife Madison, Joshua Burrell and wife Crystal, and Haley Burrell; father, Cecil Burrill and wife Lucille; special nieces and nephews, Kirk Dockery, Jr., Lisha Dockery and Tessy Dockery; sisters, Susan Johnsonbaugh and Melanie Capps; 4 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9th from 2:00 until 3;00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service to start at 3:00p.m. in the Chapel at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor James Chambers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, make donations for his funeral expenses.
