Cherryville – James "Jim" Michael Hudspeth, 63, passed away May 5, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in Gaston County on July 6, 1958, to the late Leonard and Mellie Anderson Hudspeth. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip, Bobby, and Fred.
Jim enjoyed fishing and was a fan of #3, Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also was a big fan of drinking sundrop. He worked for many years in the plumbing and as an electrician.
Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Left to cherish Jim's memories is his loving wife of 35 years, Jane White Hudspeth; his daughters, Danielle (Christian) Buchanan and Jena White (Greg Cunningham); grandchildren, Wesley, Alex, Elizabeth, and Nicholas; brother, David Hudspeth, and sisters, Flora Barnes, Linda Cribb, and Hazel Hudspeth and a sister in law Janice Walters.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
