Gastonia Jenna Michelle Melton, 27, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2021.
She was born in Gaston County on June 8, 1994. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Tadych, and her father, Travis Melton, and grandfather, Jim Willard.
She was a loving, kind, and beautiful daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many. Jenna loved music, writing poetry, and shopping; she also liked dying her hair and tattoos.
Survivors include her children, C.J. Melton, Emma Melton, Kai Phetmany, Gabriel Tadych, and Izzy Melton; her mother, Angie Willard Portela; her grandmother, Diane Willard; brothers, Caleb Lineberrry and Nathan Berrien; sisters, Lauren Berrien and Kaitlyn Gamble.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
