Dallas – Jennifer "Jenny" Machelle Trantham, 55, passed away on November 5, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House.
Jennifer was a native of Gaston County, born on July 13, 1966, to Jean Wilson Trantham and the late Carl Curtis Trantham. She is also preceded in death by her great-niece, Riley Blake Adams.
Jenny was a wonderful loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She spent most of her time in school. Jenny attended Mary Ellen Nelson and was a graduate of Webb Street School. She loved to travel to the mountains and the beach; also spending time with her family.
Survivors include her loving mother, Jean Wilson Trantham; sister, Rhonda Love, and husband Wayne; nephews, Joseph Adams and wife Kayla; Aaron Adams and wife Cheyenne and Samuel Adams and wife Amber; great-nephews, Kayden Adams, Anson Adams, and great-niece, Piper McKinney.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC.
Celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11th in the Chapel at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
