Jeremy Wade Andrews

Gastonia – Jeremy Wade Andrews, 38, passed away July 23, 2022, from an automobile accident.

Jeremy was born in Gaston County on January 26, 1984. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanie “Camille” Thompson.

Jeremy worked in home improvement most of his life. After long weeks of work-his weekends were filled with family outings. He enjoyed the mountains, disk golf, day trips through the mountains. camping at Sliding Rock at Brown Mt. He loved animals and cherished his dog “Woody”. Jeremy was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. He had a smile that made you smile back. He never met a stranger.

Left to cherish Jeremy’s memory is his loving mother, Rachel Thompson Andrews, and his father, Christopher Steven Andrews; his children, Haylie Preston, Jeremy Andrews, Jr., Jade Andrews, Jillian Andrews and a step-son, Mason Dagnen; his loving sister Britney Andrews and her children, Elijah, Briana Alexander, Eric Perry, Jr and Kynzie Perry; grandparents, Charles and Laura Andrews, Ron Thompson; aunts and uncles, John Thompson, Curtis Thompson, Brenda Evansek, Lynda Genson, Shelli Andrews and Bruce Andrews.

A Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2022. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 prior to the services.
