Jerry Edward Buchanan

Jerry Edward Buchanan, 77, passed away on December 20, 2023.

He was born in Gaston County on September 28, 1946 to the late Fred and Julia Buchanan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Brian Buchanan who passed away in July 2023, and his brother, Charles Williams.

Jerry was owner and operator of Carolina Machine & Associates for many years and he enjoyed fishing & golfing. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Beth Buchanan Williams and her husband Ben; daughter in law Angel Harris Buchanan; brother, Ron Buchanan and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Christian Buchanan and wife Danielle, Alexis Snyder and husband Kurtis, Zachary Buchanan and wife Brooke, Matthew Williams, and Cameron Williams; and his great-grandchildren, Oaklyn Buchanan and Karter Snyder.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
