Jerry Lee Ward

Jerry Lee Ward, 74, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina, on August 23, 1950 to the late Paul and Lela Ward. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, and mother of his children, Jeanette Hill Ward; second wife, Daisy Ward; and his sister, Margie Dameron.

Jerry loved to be outside and enjoyed being surrounded by nature. He also liked to watch tv shows and enjoyed the company of his family. He leaves many cherished memories with all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Brandon Lee Ward and Cheyanna Ward; and his siblings, Wesley Ward, Jr., Jimmy Ward, and Rita Boone; and 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 on the way; and his two special friends of Gastonia, Charlie Rhinehardt, Rita Ledford, and Jesse Caldwell of many years. 

A service will be announced at a later date.
