Dallas – Jessy Thomas McAllan Herron, 25, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 23, 1996 in Gaston County, NC. He was the son of the late Misty Featherstone.
Jessy worked at Burger King, Stanley for many years. He enjoyed rock music, his favorite group was Metallica. He also was a drummer since he was very young. Most of all he was a giver; he loved helping others.
Survived by his father, Chuck Herron; his fiancée, Chelbie Leigh Price; his grandparents, Billy Herron, Linda and Charles Michael Mobley, Debra Grindstaff;
aunts and uncles, Chris and Tina Hicks, Teresa Hudspeth and Cindy Graham; cousins, Kristin and Emily Hicks, Brook, Brandon and Bailey Taylor;
many wonderful friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
