Belmont – Nancy JoAnn Holcombe Johnson, 85, passed away on October 17, 2021, at Stanley Total Living Center.
JoAnn was born in Cramerton, North Carolina on November 23, 1935, to the late L.R. and Sallie Inman Holcombe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Dillard, Sue McCollum, and Bobbie Taylor. She worked in textiles and for Rauch Industries. She enjoyed crafts and loved animals.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Stanley Total Living Center and Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County for their love and care given to JoAnn.
Left to cherish her memories include her nieces and nephews, Becky Brown and husband Larry; Dennis Dillard and wife Jo; and Kenneth Dillard and wife Sharon.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Gethsemane section with Rev. Michael Byrd officiating. Releasing of the Doves will follow the Graveside Service.
The family will receive family and friends following the Graveside Service.
