McAdenville- Joe Keith ' Jokie' Robinette, 76 of 107 McAdenville Avenue., passed away June 16, 2012 at Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC
He was a native of Gaston County, born July 21, 1935 to the late Joe Wheeler Robinette and Carrie Mayne Robinette.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harlow Robinette
He had retired from Pharr Yarns with more than 44 years of service, and was a U. S. Marine veteran. Jokie was a loving husband, father and grandfather; and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Effie Trantham Robinette; his children, Clara Faye Young, Timothy Keith Robinette and wife Kathy, all of McAdenville, Calvin Francis Lee Payne, Jr and wife Vickie of Bessemer City; and a sister Maggie Mincey of McAdenville;
Four Grandchildren, Several grandchildren,step grandchildren and great great grandchildren
