Joseph Todd Pullen, 56, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at his residence in Gastonia with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Gaston County on January 6, 1970 to the late Alfred and Audrey Pullen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Pullen; and his mother-in-law, Margaret Byars.

Joey spent his 18-year career as a proud fireman for McAdenville and Cramerton Fire Department. He enjoyed watching Nascar and going to Auctions in his free time. Joey was the kind of man who loved to help and take care of people. He truly had a servant heart and he was a giver, not a taker.
