Joshua "Josh" Patrick Collier

Joshua “Josh” Patrick Collier, 29, passed away on August 5, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center, in Rock Hill.

He was born on April 24, 1997 to David and Pamela Collier. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger “Rusty” Allen Weaver.

Josh was a graduate of West Johnston High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UNCC. He played football during high school and college and remained an avid football fan of the LSU Tigers. He was well liked had many friends throughout high school and college, especially his best friend Dylan Lawrence. Josh also enjoyed taking beach trips with his wife, Madison, and most of all he loved his family. His family was everything to him, especially his wife and son. Josh also loved his dogs Archie and Piper.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Madison Weaver Collier; son, Rhett Allen Collier; siblings, Daniel Collier (Tabitha) and Lauren Bellissimo (Anthony); several nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles; mother-in-law, Tracy Weaver; sister-in-law, Carley Weaver; MiMi and Pawpaw, Dianne and Jimmy Duncan.

The family will receive friends at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2026. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Jim Davis officiating.
