High Shoals - Joshua Gavin “Josh” Taylor, 35, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on November 10, 1987 and is the son of the late Fermon Taylor, Jr and Donna Scomillio Taylor, and was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Gavin Taylor, Jr.

Josh is survived by his fiancée, Elizabeth Watson; brothers, Erick and wife Kimberly Taylor, Phillip and wife Crystal Sergeant; Rhonda Trull his godmother, and a cousin, Brian Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00p.m., Wednesday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
