Judy Parton Homesley

Judy Parton Homesley, 79, of Gastonia, NC, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Judy was a devoted member of New Life Baptist Church and had a deep love for people. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and the joy she found in spending time with others. Judy especially treasured time spent with her family. She loved shopping outings with her daughter, enjoyed trying new restaurants together, and making memories that will be cherished forever.

In addition to her parents, Lloyd and Verdie Parton, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 16 years, Jim Homesley.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Crystal Rouse (Kit); granddaughters, Whitney Snyder (JP) and Abby Rouse; as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Harrison and Charlotte, whom she loved more than words can express. Judy also held a special place in her heart for her cherished fur babies, Coco, Emma, and Dixie.

Her memory will forever be a blessing to her family and friends. A special thanks to VIA Health Partners (Hospice of Charlotte) as well as her devoted sister, Darlene, and her niece, Jeanne.

A special Celebration of Life Service honoring the joy and love that Judy brought to us all will be held on Thursday March, 5 2026, at 4:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are endlessly grateful for the time we shared. The love Judy gave will remain woven into our lives forever. We will carry her memory in every act of kindness.
