Dallas– Julia Hill Key, 62, passed away on October 20, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Guilford County on January 28, 1958 to the late Charles and Margie Hill.
Julia was a member of First United Methodist Church, Dallas. She spent many years as a dedicated nurse at Baptist Hospital in the NICU. Julia enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her beloved fur baby "Molly". She loved working in the flower garden, cooking and her trips to the beach with family and friends.
Julia is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Jimmy Dean Key; daughter Natalie Key; sons David (Taylor) Key and Travis (Francesca) Key; brother Robert Hill; her good friend and coworker Suzanne Preston and her other siblings, Jimmy Lester, Rhonda Pinnix and Connie Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday October 26, 2020 in the Mausoleum at Parklawn Memorial Gardens 2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the graveside service.
