Kathy Johnson Livermore

Blacksburg – Kathy Johnson Livermore, 64 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Kathy was born in Belmont, North Carolina on July 8, 1958 to the late George Gordon Johnson and Dorothy Ruth Sherrill Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Hannah, brothers, Ray and Danny Sherrill.

Kathy was an excellent artist and a very good painter. She loved spending time with her horses, Jack and Renal. She also liked animals of all kind. She loved art of any kind and nature and most of all her family. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 10 years, Roger Livermore; her children, Angela Weathers (Joshua), Michelle Freeman (Danny), Jeffery Brooks, Andy Livermore (Elizabeth Stiltner); grandchildren, Kayla Hannah, Ashley Hayes, Lynsie Weathers, Emily Weathers, Kourtney Bunting, Trenton Bunting, Trevor Bunting, Trace Freeman, Tony Brooks; and a great grandchild, Asher Bunting; brother, Roger Johnson (Genia).

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday August 28, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Forest Hennessee officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen “A Quiet Place” in Belmont, North Carolina.

Pallbearers will be Josh Weathers, Trenton Bunting, Danny Freeman, Trevor Bunting, Tony Brooks and John Gregory.
