Kevin Richard Huskins, a devoted brick mason and cherished member of his community, was born on July 10, 1961, in Gaston County, North Carolina. After a fulfilling life dedicated to brick laying, he passed away peacefully at his residence on May 31, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

Kevin was man of many passions He found joy in the simplicity of life, spending countless hours fishing and embracing the thrill of racing, particularly rooting for his favorite driver, Mark Martin. A true artisan at heart, he also delighted in the process of making corn bake, often sharing his culinary creations with those he loved. His laughter and zest for life created unforgettable memories that will forever echo in the hearts of his family and friends.

Among his proudest accomplishments were his beloved children: Brittainy Huskins, Wesley Kiser (Tiffany Lazenby), and James Huskins (Stefne). Kevin’s love for his children was boundless, and he took immense pride in watching them grow into remarkable individuals. Each of his grandchildren—Makenna, Breanna, Destany, Lilly-Anne, Hunter, Alyssa, and Kasey—brought him indescribable joy and fulfillment, serving as a testament to the legacy of love he cultivated throughout his life.

Kevin is survived by his children and grandchildren, as well as his beloved sisters, Belinda Thain, Kim Meeler, and Shelley Huskins. He cherished the time spent with his many wonderful friends, whose camaraderie brightened his days and enriched his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Barbara Berry Huskins, and his beloved wife of many years, Kelly Dawn Huskins, who left this world in 2021. Together they created a home filled with love, laughter, and a steadfast bond that remains unbroken, even in their physical separation.

Kevin Richard Huskins leaves behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and the simple joys of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, remembered not only for his skills as a mason but for the love, kindness, and laughter he shared so freely. May his memory be a blessing to all.
