We gather with heavy hearts to remember and honor the life of Kim Edwin (Kim-Bo)Dellinger, who departed this world suddenly on May 6, 2026, at his residence. Born on March 6, 1959, Kim’s journey was marked by love, dedication, and a profound connection to those he cherished most.

Kim was a proud employee of Ingle's in Dallas, where he not only found fulfillment in his work but also treasured the vibrant community that surrounded him every day. His genuine warmth and friendly nature made a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. Yet, beyond his career, it was the time spent with family that truly filled his heart with joy. A devoted family man, Kim delighted in sharing moments with his son, Kyle, and embracing the bonds woven through his extended family.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Kim found excitement and camaraderie in watching NASCAR and an array of other sports. He carried spirited allegiance for the Atlanta Braves, the North Carolina Tar Heels, and held a special place in his heart for the Minnesota Vikings. Alongside his love for sports, Kim enjoyed listening to Outlaw Country and Rock & Roll, melodies that echoed his lively spirit and zest for life.

Kim’s personality was a radiant blend of kindness and strength, centered around his cherished family. He is survived by his beloved son, Kyle Edwin Dellinger; his sister, Karma D Mulhall, and D.J.; nieces Kelly Mulhall (Blake) and Megan Blue (Toni); great niece and nephews, Peyton, Violet and Theo; his uncle Gary Holloway and Mandy; and his aunts Sharon “Pat” Perkins and Jan Friday, and Rusty. The family circle also extends to several nieces and nephews who hold tight to the memories of their treasured uncle.

His passing leaves a void that echoes deeply, remembering those who went before him: his parents Charles Dellinger and Linda Holloway Martin, sister, Margaret Alyce Dellinger alongside his aunts Deb Holloway and Dixie Shives and Ronnie. Their memories, like Kim’s, are woven into the fabric of the family's story, bound by love and remembrance.

Services to celebrate Kim’s life will be held at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054, United States. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00p,m, where all who knew and loved Kim may come together to honor his legacy.

As we reflect on Kim Edwin Dellinger’s life, we remember a man whose greatest happiness came from his family, whose passions brought joy, and whose spirit touched the hearts of many. His presence will be sorely missed, yet his memory will forever live on in the laughter shared, the stories told, and the love that binds his family and friends together. Rest in peace, Kim. Your legacy is a beacon of warmth and affection that will continue to shine in the lives you have touched.
